At its March monthly meeting Newchurch Parish Council welcomed Miss June Davison and Mr Keith Newbery as co-opted members, restoring the Council to its full size.

Mrs Draper stated that the Parish Plan Steering Group was about to send its questionnaire to the printers with the expectation that it should be delivered Parish-wide during March. The deadline for returning the completed questionnaire will be 21 April 2007 and there will be a public open day in the hall at Newchurch School  on 16 June 2007 when the results of the questionnaire will be displayed.

The Chairman informed the meeting that with effect from 1^st May 2007 Newchurch School would take over from the NPS&CA the running of the former Community Hall.

Four Planning Applications were considered. It was agreed to object to only one of these, but that Application has since been withdrawn.
