Newchurch Parish Sports and Community Association

The NPS&CA was established over 22 years

ago for the benefit of the people of the

Parish of Newchurch.

Newchurch Parish Sports and Community Association was founded in the early 1980s for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Newchurch. It was formed out of the need for proper recreational facilities in the Parish. The Association became a registered charity in 1985 and has involved itself in a number of very successful projects. The Association has a Council, a Management Committee and a Fund raising Committee, it also has also recently formed a Social Committee.

The Association Council 

The Association has a Council drawn from the whole Parish and consists of the elected officers, a number of parishioners and representatives from over 20 affiliated Parish organisations.

The Management Committee

The Management Committee runs the day-to-day affairs of the Association. This committee is drawn from the Council and is re-elected each year.

The Garlic Festival

The Garlic Festival was the major fund raising event of the Newchurch Parish Sports and Community Association. The money raised over the years has allowed the Association to fund the purchase and funding of a number of Community projects as well as help the many Parish organisations.
