The Society has built an Observatory in the Parish of Newchurch. The IW Astronomical Observatory is owned and run by the VAS, and members are encouraged to use this facility on a regular basis. The Observatory is located in grounds of Newchurch Parish Sports and Community Centre, Watery Lane almost opposite Thompson’s Garden Centre.
