Newchurch
Village Postcards
Most of the images of postcards have been made smaller to
save uploading time. If you wish to see these images clearly then please double
click on them and they will magically increase in size.
There are many old postcards of the village of Newchurch, a large
majority of which show the church.
But
there are others showing the shops, the Pub, the Shute, the Railway Station and
events such as the Hunt, the Pageant etc.
They show just a few
examples of different elements of village life at the end of the 19th
century and throughout the 20th century.
As there are rather a
lot of interesting cards, and bearing in mind the load-up time of images, I have
created different pages for each of the different groups of cards.
