The Villages of the Parish

The Parish of Newchurch is made up of a number of small villages and hamlets. 

These include Newchurch Village, Apse Heath, Winford, Whiteley Bank, Alverstone, Alverstone Garden Village, Queenbower, Princelett and Mersley.

Over the last century the area has developed and some of these villages have grown into sprawling modern settlements. There are some interesting modern houses especially in Winford and Alverstone Garden Village.
